January 2020 Newsletter

 In Newsletter

Our First HOA Board Of Directors Meeting for the New Year is this Monday, January 6 at 6:30 pm.   Note that this is a change from our regularly scheduled meetings on Tuesdays.

This is the “Organizing Meeting” which will welcome our newest Board Member, Jay Sokloski.  Also, we will elect the Board Officers for the coming year, appoint Committee Liaisons, set the schedule for 2020, and conduct the regular business of the Board. All homeowners are welcome to attend and have an opportunity for input during the meeting. The agenda is posted on the clubhouse bulletin board and on this website,  here:   https://glenwoodgreen.org/category/agendas/.

Voting Ends January 17:  We need your vote to advance a loan for the exterior painting project to be done in the first half of 2020 (if the measure passes).

We are close to receiving enough ballots to validate the election (93 ballots) but we also want to hear from you!  Help us get this done and be a part of this important process!  Vote soon!

Google Installation Note:  Work has been greatly delayed to frequent rains, but the crews have sure been trying hard!   The building crew is nearly done connecting all the lines and you may see them working this Sunday to get finished.  No noise nor disturbance is expected, however, from this work.

The ground crew will be on site Monday and Tuesday to do clean-up.  May we ask you to let us know if you see anything still pending that needs clean-up or repair, especially any damaged landscaping.  We will be doing a “walk-thru” to review clean-up and finish work, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday (weather permitting, of course!).

Driver Etiquette: Your editor has noted that some of you seem to be in a big hurry to get from the gate to your front door.  Okay, it’s been a long day, and there’s nothing nicer than getting home. Or you want to get out the gate cause you’re late to work.

But please SLOW-DOWN!
Without sidewalks, the road is shared with  dog walkers and pedestrians, and it’s also dark early.  Please take one extra minute and be careful out there!

Happy New Year!  And come join us at our next Board Meeting and see what we are up to!
