January HOA Board Meeting Update
The opening Board Meeting of the year embraced and dispatched a long agenda. You’ll find all the Minutes of the meeting posted here, under Categories: Minutes. Please take a minute to catch up on what’s happening for our community.
A few highlights: Meetings for the year were set for the 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 in the Clubhouse. Agendas for future meetings will be posted on this website the Friday before each meeting. Officers elected the coming year are: Lyn Deardorff, President; Marc Bearden, Vice President; Keith Covert, Vice President; Blake Briese, Treasurer; Michelle Dixon, Secretary.

Front Door Painting:  One important note to all residents from the meeting: after a lengthy process you all remember, the front door painting and selected door handle replacements have been completed.  This project will be closed out January 31.  If you have any pending issues, please report them immediately to Will Stanley, our Property Manager.

More GG Fun!   From our Social Committee:

Let’s avoid the crowds around town and hang out with our neighbors in the clubhouse to watch the game. HOA will provide burgers as well as veggie burgers. Bring a side, appetizer or dessert to share. BYOB.
This will be a super casual get together.  We look forward to meeting more of our neighbors!  Please RSVP at the Facebook Glenwood Green HOA site, under Events, if you can join us.

Parking Policy Considerations

As you know, Glenwood Green is limited in its number of Visitors’ Parking Spaces. And it has no room to add more visitor or resident parking. Because of misunderstandings and/or regular violations of the policy, the HOA Board is considering changes to the Parking Policy and adopting a method of monitoring the use of Visitor Parking spaces.

Before making any changes, the Board would like to hear from you:   your experiences, your concerns, and most of all your ideas of what needs to be done and what would work. Please send your feedback to:  Please include your name and unit number, but all names will be kept confidential to Board Members only.  And please know that no changes will be made without open discussion at a future HOA Board meeting.

And One Final Note:

This is your website:

  • We welcome help with the website from you who have WordPress, website management or other related experience.  Our editor is technologically challenged, so any help would be much appreciated!
  • Are you a wanna-be reporter?  Craft an occasional article about happenings, developments, area restaurant reviews, government/political news of interest to our area? We’d love to have you, let’s talk.
  • Letters to the Editor?  Sure!  Make sure your topic is of interest to the residents, no rants or foul language of course, and we’ll give it consideration for a future newsletter.  Make sure you include your name and unit number (but we’ll keep it confidential if you request).  Of course, comments are also possible on any postings right on the website.  Keep it clean!
