Paint Project – Colors & Schedules Update – 8.7

Door Painting

An issue we are all too familiar with is how paint adheres to our front doors. There is currently a hold on doors as the contractor works to determine the best solution. Due to the unknown with the door paint, the door color for your unit may have a required, unforeseen change. Once you are notified that your door will be painted, the contractor has recommended removing your hardware on the day of painting to obtain best results. If hardware is not removed, the contractor will tape on and around your hardware.

Building Schedule

The following buildings will have a punch list inspection completed on August 10 & 11 for anything (outside of doors) that may need to be touched up. If you notice something which needs to be corrected (paint runs, missed spots, etc.), please e-mail projects@glenwoodgreen.org.

The buildings listed below are scheduled to be pressure washed and painted in the order they are listed during the next 2-14 days. With the initial wood repairs complete, and so long as weather does not prevent delays, each building may be completed more quickly than initially scheduled.

While we will attempt to have everyone updated on progress, we cannot fully anticipate the schedule for the full duration of the project. If you are in one of the buildings below, we recommend starting the process of preparing your porch, patio and yard areas for pressure washing and painting.

Buildings Colors

If your building is not yet listed, then there may be a change to the current color scheduled. We are working to make those finalizations as soon as possible, and will update the community when it is known. If you do not have a door color listed next to your building, then we are still working to determine the appropriate mix within the neighborhood. Once this has been finalized, we will update this information on the listing below as well.
